At the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, not only did I study Journalism and Electronic Media with a minor in Africana Studies but I also served as a columnist for the Daily Beacon and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
My passion for writing and community work has since led me into the field of digital communications as a remote freelancer. My work has spanned from Los Angeles to New York and even across The Pond, where I have helped equip organizations in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors with the support to amplify their message and maximize their impact through social media, email campaigns, and network communications.
Whether I share the load of their comms work or empower them with the skills needed to publish newsletters, insights articles, blog pieces, internal communications, and so much more on their own, I have had the privilege to be a cog in the ever-evolving machine serving underrepresented communities to create change no matter how many miles I am from the cause.
